Charlotte Una works with oil, pigment, ink and oil pastel — on canvas, on paper and on old sea charts and atlas pages that stay visible as a ground in the picture.
The works are made in series and without preliminary drawing. Crowded bodies, animals with open mouths, balloons and wings recur.
